The Wolfson Suite is a purpose built conference and screening space featuring fantastic acoustics, cinema speakers and its own green room with direct access to the rear mews entrance of 41 Portland Place.
We would like to share a few event case studies with you to demonstrate the fantastic versatility of this space.
An international music company invited media guests to preview one of their new artists.
Guests entered the venue through the private mews entrance decorated withthe artist’s logo and photo.
Canapés and drinks were served in the Green Room before guests were invited into the Wolfson Suite for a live performance. Inside the Wolfson mood lighting and occasional furniture created a basement bar atmosphere with all the benefits of an acoustically sound venue.
Opera Master Class
A leading industry biographer hosted a master class event based on the Mozart & Da Ponte opera, Don Giovanni.
Guests were greeted with a glass of Champagne before taking their seats in the Wolfson Suite for a presentation on the history of the opera with examples performed by some of Europe’s best performers.
After the master class, a sumptuous dinner for 70 guests was served upstairs in the Council Chamber.
Market research event
We recently hosted a market research workshop for a client who wanted to explore how their latest campaign would be received by the public.
15 people were welcomed to the Wolfson Suite and seated around a boardroom table for a facilitated focus group discussion. Refreshments were provided at the table for participants to enjoy whilst different films were shown on the Wolfson Suite’s cinema style screen.
A live video feed from the discussion room was fed into the Green Room where four researchers sat on sofas to watch and hear the session without disturbing the participants.
This event format has also been used successfully for testing advertising campaigns and preview screenings.
