Last week 41 Portland Place hosted a showcase for Ernest Jones’s new jewellery and watch range. A team of stylists transformed the first floor at 41 Portland Place into a stunning backdrop to bring the new range to life. The event was attended by around 100 prestigious journalists from publications including Vogue, Grazia and Marie Claire.
Inside rooms were styled with fabulous mannequins and contemporary display cases to exhibit the creative new designs. Bright floral arrangements and bespoke lighting throughout enhanced the sparkle. The period features of the John Newsom-Davis suite gave the exhibition an air of grandeur and sophistication and provided a perfect backdrop to allow the products to shine.
In between viewings of the beautiful new jewellery, guests enjoyed a selection of delicious drinks in the medicinal themed garden on our roof terrace. For those who preferred the shadier parts, a white dome marquee was dressed with sleek white benches and contemporary chairs for guests to relax.
An entourage of chefs led by Head Chef, Will Carvalho served a canapé style menu giving guests the opportunity to sample some carefully selected favourites from our summer breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The service began at 8am with mini crumpets topped with hollandaise, crispy bacon & quail egg, 24 hour cured Chalk Farm smoked salmon & cream cheese bagels and stylish fruit, yoghurt, honey & granola pots. The delicious canapés continued to flow throughout the day with goat’s cheese gnocchi with lemon, thyme and apple chutney and bruschetta with white bean and garlic purée being one of the favourites.
On departure, the lucky visitors were given a goodie bag from Ernest Jones enhanced with a little luxurious bag of Chef Will Carvalho’s famous homemade cookies!
The event was a raving success and the team at 41 Portland Place loved being a part of such a prestigious event for such a reputable client.
