Case study – Interactive live broadcast from 41 Portland Place

In July, 41 Portland Place was host to pop star, Nathan Sykes’ first solo single launch campaign; ‘Sykes Secret Show’.

The interactive performance was broadcast online live from the Council Chamber at 41 Portland place to viewers around the globe who tuned in to watch the highly anticipated show.

The team from LiveFi provided the creative and technical support for the event, delivering a seamless delivery of the event streamed live to thousands of fans worldwide.

In the Council Chamber, the stage was set and the room equipped with a 4 camera video feed.

Live interactive screens in at the side of the stage allowed for artist interaction. Sykes was able to respond live to tweets and messages coming through the live feeds onto the screens to the delight of his fans.

The Laurie Landeau Room was set up as the event control room and LiveFi took advantage of 41PP’s existing IT capabilities to enable a crystal clear live stream.

Several lucky fans from the USA, Mexico, Brazil and France were treated to live Skype calls with Sykes during the show.

All of the action was filmed for upcoming worldwide promotion of Sykes new single ‘Kiss Me Quick’.
