BBQ bites and summer delights @41PP
Just last week, 200 guests celebrated the Academy of Medical Sciences 2011 Fellows Admission day in the John Newsom-Davis suite and on our newly refurbished Terrace. Chef Will Carvalho directed an entourage of Harbour & Jones chefs to serve up scrumptious BBQ bites and mouth-watering canapés from our spring and summer menu. A range of decadent summer beverages including Pimms and lemonade, champagne punch and gin fizz added to the celebration atmosphere. Guests loved that food was served fresh from the BBQ by the chefs which added an element of performance to the event. In fact it was almost impossible to tempt them away for the speeches! Inside stunning floral arrangements adorned the rooms filling them with the colours and scents of summer and the venue was bathed in sunlight thanks to the beautiful sash windows. Guests commented that 41 Portland Place had provided the perfect location for their summer soirée and it would be long remembered as the finest of the summer season.
