Nothing but the best dinner
The brief
A VIP dinner for an international company to entertain potential investors. The brief was ‘nothing but the best’ and the venue team were keen to impress the 56 strong contingency of guests.
The 41 Portland Place solution
Making the most of the entire first floor, guests were welcomed into the John Newsom Davis Reception Room to enjoy glasses of champagne whilst feasting on Chef Will’s delicious canapés. Guests were then ushered into the adjoining Council Chamber where tables were adorned with the finest crystalware and beautiful floral arrangements lit by candelight. The enormous antique mirrors, paintings and period plasterwork were bathed in ambient coloured lighting and additional hurricane lamps placed on the antique table to create an intimate setting befitting such a historical room. After dinner and speeches, guests adjourned into both the Reception and Ann Rylands room for port, coffee and petit fours, with final guests not leaving until well after their coaches had turned to pumpkins!
